Southern California continues to burn. One cannot help but notice, however, the difference in how the federal government is responding in this disaster compared to Katrina.. Would it perhaps have something to do with the population being white, rich and Republican? No, that would be silly to even suggest that, huh?

Not trying to sound racist though this is sure to come out that way but I am in total agreement with you. I heard a lot of racist comments after Katrina happened and how "they" were just going to run amok and all kinds of other things in that directions... And honestly, it wouldn't suprise me in the slightest if I discovered our "God-loving" president was a bit racist as well.
